New Integrated Touch Screen Display for DocSend
Shipping in July, 2006

DocSend will be shipping with a new, integrated touch screen display. Like previously-shipped units, this display features:

• 15-inch SVGA LCD monitor
  
• Portrait orientation
  
• Resistive touch screen
  
• Independent power
  
• Interfaces to the PC through video and USB cables

The integrated touch screen display also will include new features for user productivity improvement:

• Digital media reader and USB port, supporting the following flash media types for image import/export.
  
  • Compact Flash (CF)
    
  • Micro Drive (MD)
    
  • Memory Stick (MS)
    
  • MultiMedia Card (MMC)
    
  • Secure Digital (SD)
    
  • Smart Media (SM)
    
  • USB flash drive
• Accommodation for integrated RFID card reader or biometric security device
  
• Mounting holes for VESA 75mm and 100mm interfaces (compatible with most after-market desktop/wall-mount stands)

Because the media reader and security readers are integrated into the monitor, there is a lot more flexibility for deploying DocSend. Installation is much easier with fewer electrical connections required. Also, users will have the option of deploying DocSend without the factory stand.
